Child/Teen Counselling

Child and Teen Therapy is designed to support young people who are struggling with emotional, behavioural, or developmental challenges. Whether the difficulties arise from anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, school-related issues, or changes within the family, this program offers a safe, supportive space for children and teens to explore their feelings and build healthy coping skills.

In this program, young individuals are guided through age-appropriate strategies that strengthen emotional regulation, improve communication skills, enhance confidence, and support healthy relationships. We focus on meeting each child or teen at their developmental level, empowering their choices, and helping them navigate challenges with greater resilience and self-understanding.

What's it about?

Children and teens face many pressures—academic demands, social challenges, changing friendships, family transitions, trauma, or internal emotional struggles. They may not yet have the words, emotional development, or tools to express what they feel or to manage overwhelming experiences.

Stress, anxiety, or sadness can show up as irritability, withdrawal, behavioural issues, or difficulty concentrating. Major life changes—such as divorce, relocation, or the arrival of a new sibling—can also create insecurity or emotional confusion. Without support, these challenges can affect confidence, relationships, and overall well-being.

Child and Teen Therapy helps identify these underlying experiences, teaching young people how to understand their emotions, strengthen coping skills, and build the resilience needed to thrive.
